The Priory house is a Georgian Grade II listed building built in the 1750s Situated in the conservation area of Herne Bay. It has recently undergone extensive refurbishment, whilst maintaining the house's full character.
The accommodation is now fully modernised. A warm welcome awaits you. There is adequate free parking in the car park at the front of the house. There are single, double and family rooms available, which are all en-suite with TV and Freeview sky TV.
We now have FREE WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS in all rooms.
The resort town of Herne Bay proudly flies the 2007 Quality Coast Award flag over its safe clean beaches. The resort is a popular destination for water sports, wind surfing, sailing, and jet skiing but is still suitable for swimming and excellent fishing too. Popular wildlife sailing trips leave most days to see seals and dolphin in their natural habitat. At Wildwood on nearby Herne Common, land-dwelling wildlife such as wolves, beavers, badgers and otters may be seen. The town's vibrant and colourful August festival, includes a carnival, firework displays, fun fair and events for the whole family.
The recently refurbished Victorian Bandstand holds concerts throughout the season and the popular Punch and Judy Days are now an annual event.
